Be A Scout

…to be a scout too!

Have Fun, Make Friends, See New Things.

For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own pinewood derby car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a family campout, your child will LOVE being a Cub Scout. So if he’s in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years old, then it’s time for him to have some fun … with the Cub Scouts.

Cub Scouting includes a variety of fun and exciting activities for boys in the first through fifth grades.  Boys want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime . If your boy is about to enter first through fifth grade, Cub Scouting may be exactly what you are both looking for.

Cub Scouts do many kinds of activities, learn different skills and build good character.  Some of the things that Scouts do and learn (or that Cub Scouting emphasizes) are:

  • Skills building or crafting things.
  • Explore and learn about nature.
  • Go on trips to interesting and unusual places.
  • Make new friends!

Cub Scouting:

  • involves a variety of family activities
  • encourages good behavior
  • teaches lifelong values
  • strengthens the bonds of family
