There are a few guidelines for door-to-door sales:
1) Your scout should be in his full Class-A uniform, and accompanied by an adult. Try to stay on paved sidewalks and driveways & avoid walking on lawns.
2) Your scout is representing the BSA, and should thank the folks he meets, even if they do not buy popcorn.
3) Door-to-door sales end at dusk.
4) The Council office recommends collecting money upon delivery, not when the order is placed. Checks should be made out to "Pack 4 Hudson".
5) Be sure to get a phone number when taking an order, as you may need it when you try to arrange delivery.
6) Orders must be turned into Lori or Steve by Oct 27th latest.
7) Tell your customers that the popcorn will be delivered around Thanksgiving.
8) Consider delivering a hand-written thank-you note along with the popcorn in November.
